Hi. I’m Paul, the owner and senior adviser here at Commodore Finance Ltd. My career in finance started in 1984 initially working with Pearl Assurance. I held various senior management roles there before eventually leaving due to the company closure. Having established Commodore Finance Ltd in 2006, I am proud to say we are now a leading provider of financial advice in North Wales, the Northwest and various national locations. I am so pleased to have been awarded a ‘Top-Rated Adviser’ award in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 consecutively in the Vouchedfor Awards.  These awards are featured in the Times and the Telegraph. In 2022 we were also incredibly pleased to have been rated a top small company by Vouchedfor as well.   

Having completed numerous professional qualifications related to financial planning whilst also adhering to a strict programme of continued professional development this all helps to ensure that our clients receive full and comprehensive advice, whatever their financial need.

I can say with some conviction that I love the work I do; I am often heard to say there is no greater satisfaction than helping our clients achieve their financial dreams and ambitions.

In my spare time I enjoy time with my family and grandchildren.  I love cruise holidays with my wonderful wife, however I am always happy to be back home in Prestatyn.

Bill Finegan

Hi. I was born in Edinburgh. I served 12 years with the Armed Forces in the Black Watch. My previous employment was with Royal Liver Assurance, Wesleyan Financial Services, and Pearl Assurance. I hold a Bachelor of Law degree. I am married to Noreen and currently living in North Wales.

As an adviser representing Beneficial Trust and Will Company, I support clients who need to implement their Will, Lasting Power of Attorney or a Trust. Additionally, we also provide probate services.

Tracey Davies

I have worked for Commodore Finance Ltd since March 2019. Before this I worked in the local RBS branches for 18 years, I was made redundant in January 2019.

I have always lived in this area and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

I have 3 amazing children, one in university, one in high school and one in primary school.  They drive me crazy but I would be lost without them as they make me laugh out loud and super proud everyday.

I have just started to study for my mortgage qualification, with the support of Paul and the team.  It’s hard work but I am enjoying it.

Bill Finegan

I am now semi retired and provide clients with Estate Planning services which include, Wills, Power of Attorney, Trusts and Pre-paid funeral plans.

I am currently studying with the Open University to gain a Bachelor of Law degree.

Lennie began his career in financial services in 1978 with Allied Dunbar, progressing through various management roles before joining Norwich Union as a sales manager. In recent years, he has specialised in the mortgage market with a particular focus on equity release—a role he continues to fulfil with dedication and care.
Outside of work, Lennie enjoys DIY and keeping active when time allows. He’s been happily married to his wife Patricia for 46 years and is a proud father and grandfather
